response to U.S won't prosecute in states that allow medical marijuana
This article doesn't really change my thinking that much. I feel that if patients need marijuana for their disorder or what have them, then they should be able to use it. People who abuse this law is the reason why the law enforcements and the Government is second guessing medical marijuana. This website wasn't the best website I have used; it was hard to understand because of the vocabulary and wording, and the information was very litttle on the subject. On a scale 1-10, this website was a 4. It wasn't all that helpful and it gave the same information that all the other sites have but in different, more complex vocabulary.
Notes on U.S. Won’t Prosecute in States That Allow Medical Marijuana
The Justice Department said that people who medical marijuana and the people who distribute it to them should not go to jail and/or face prosecution. The new look on medical marijuana was barely a happy hold of medical marijuana, or laws that allow it in some states. But the administration thought there were more important things to prosecute people over.
“It will not be a priority to use federal resources to prosecute patients with serious illnesses or their caregivers who are complying with state laws on medical marijuana,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said in a statement, “but we will not tolerate drug traffickers who hide behind claims of compliance with state law to mask activities that are clearly illegal.”
So pretty much, patients and people use use marijuana as a medical coping device and/ or using for personal reasons will not be as high on this list of arresting as murder or rape for instince. But, that doesn't mean that they will not arrest people for personal marijuana use. People who try hiding the fact they are using marijuana by covering it up by the new law, (medical marijuana law) are just out to get themselves arrested, they are no different.

Notes for "Should marijuana be a medical option?"
In 1972, marijuana was place in Schedule 1of the Controlled Substances Act, meaning that the government thought that it had no medical use treatment in the United States. 13 states have accepted the use of Medical Marijuana.
Pro: Marijuana, they claim, is safe for treatment against AIDS, cancer, Multiple Sclarosis, general pain, migraines, glaucoma, and epilepsy. They say that thousands of deaths woud be prevented if the use of medical marijuana was legal because patients over dosing on legal prescription drugs.
Con: They say that marijuana is not FDA approved because of how dangerous it is. They claim that marijuana is addictive, has potential for harder drug use, hurts the lungs, damages the immune system and the brain, interferes with fertility. They say that medical marijuana is a cover-up for drug legalization, and people who say that theya re using marijuana for medical reasons are acually using it for personal/recreational purposes.
I think that the government and Obama are taking the right steps toward what is right for this country in regards to marijuana. This subject is a little touchy, so there is many people out there debating on whether it is helping or hurting this country. It changed my thinking a little bit as to whether I thought medical marijuana was good or bad. At first, I had thought that people who use marijuana for medical reasons or personal reasons is their issue/problem and to let them do what they please. By reading these articles, it makes me second guess whether it is good or bad.... I have a whole different look on it now. There are people out there who are in desperate need of pain relief and people who need to use it for medical reasons. And then there are people out there who use it just to get high. People should be able to use it for medical reasons and medical resons only, and if they choose to sell.....let that be their problem and let them suffer the consequenses.
